Pulse with a New Passion ~ Sweet Hearts!
An emerging heart community ~ In these amazing times we are all challenged to break free from the old, worn-out tactics, thoughts, and ways. We know that what got us into this mess sure is not the solution for getting us out. We need to have heart wherever we find ourselves on the grid (or off)! So, I offer these tips for balancing heart with breath, heart with brain, and preparing a whole new way to live ~ it’s simple, really, but to take the time out can feel like a s-t-r-e-t-c-h.
Try 5-10 minutes at 1st. Like anything,(tennis, golf, speed reading . . . ) breathing consciously takes practice. Traditionally people have gathered together to meditate ~ this is good & most beneficial; not always possible . . . so start on your own, see how it goes and let me know.
3 TIPS from HRP to set yourself Free, Live Wholeheartedly, & Soar
- Shake out any tension gently. Drink a full glass of pure water before beginning breath work. Mist sea salt water or rose water all around you in your special place. (Turn off phones, tv, radio . .)
- Whether aware of it or not, your heart beats . . . place your hand over your heart (or pulse) & feel the heartbeat. Gradually become aware of your breathing & begin to count heartbeats on exhalation.
- Basic practice ~ Count ~ 5 6 or 7 heartbeats on exhale, same on inhale. When breath stabilizes try holding at top of inhale to same count. Water sounds, birds in background can enhance ~ en-JOY!-
